What are Plant Allergies?

Plant Allergy is a type of allergy, which is caused when the bare skin directly comes into contact with any type of plant, for which the skin is allergic. Unfortunately, this allergy is caused even though when the skin comes into contact for not more than a second. In fact, you would have noticed most of them affected by plant allergies, as their skin were brushed with bushes accidentally. It will take not more than two or three hours to witness the symptoms of plant allergies from the time when the plant has touched the skin. The most commonly noticed symptoms are such as red blister appearance, itchy sensation, especially in those areas touched by plants.

There is a huge list of plants, which can cause the plant allergy. However, in most of the cases, it has been observed that the patient is suffering from plant allergies as he or she has touched grevillea bush, rhus tree etc. These are commonly planted in local parks. On the other hand, it has been proved that children are the ones who easily get affected by plant allergies when compared to adults. In fact, it is children who mostly come across such plants.
